URTA DESIGNER SHOWCASE RETURNS TO LDI SHOW

NEW YORK – The URTA Designer Showcase, will take place at the LDI Show in Las Vegas, Sunday December 8, 2024.
The one-day event provides designers and technicians the opportunity to present their work and network with potential graduate school recruiters, employers, and other professionals in the field of live entertainment. As part of LDI’s Young Career Professionals Program, the showcase will be particularly valuable for early-career designers and technicians, and compliments other LDI programming, including the Design Portfolio Review (Saturday) where designers can receive professional feedback on their presentations ahead of the URTA showcase.
“There is no better place to welcome emerging designers and technicians into the live entertainment industry than at the LDI show, and the URTA Designer & Technician Showcase provides an invaluable opportunity for students and early-career professionals to engage and connect with the industry in a fun and low-pressure environment,” said URTA Program Director, Sara Ross.
Participants must be registered to attend the LDI Show, but there is no additional fee to take part in the URTA Designer Showcase. However, space is limited, so participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register at URTA.com/LDI to reserve their place. All pre-registered showcase participants will receive a discount code to redeem for a free LDI expo hall pass.
Walk-in participants may take part as space permits. LDI provides highly discounted registration for young career professionals (ldishow.com for details).
“This event has grown exponentially year after year, attracting even more talented designers, and I’m thrilled for URTA to continue our exciting partnership with LDI,” said URTA executive director, Tony Hagopian.
