What do I do in that three minutes? |
- IF you are a trained singer, (and we earnestly ask that you do NOT sing if you are NOT a strong singer)
- IF you arrive at the auditions with your pre-recorded accompaniment (no guitars or banjos allowed). You may NOT under any circumstances sing a cappela.
- IF you have batteries, as electricity if not provided. You can use a tape player, a boom box, a MP3 player...whatever you like.
We just want you to be prepared for this properly. None of our programs are recruiting for MFAs in musical theatre!! If you get called back, you can ask if they want to hear you sing a cappela.
And NO, in case you were wondering, you absolutely cannot SING for 3 minutes and do a 30 second monologue... |
